Today’s Fiber News

Knitting Branching Out is very rewarding. The yarn is very fine and fragile in spots. I am taking my time; only a repeat or two at a time. There is really a different feeling working up my own home spun that is very nice.

I was thinking of names for my spinning wheel and am leaning towards Aggie (Latin for lamb). Delanna (Italain for soft as wool) and Zihna—pronounced like Zina/Zena (Native American for spins) are also meaningful and make sense to me, but do not roll off the tongue like Aggie. So Aggie Ashford it is!
