Thursday, September 01, 2005  Today's Fiber News Last night I met Yvonne and Jane at Beechers...we had lots of yarn fun and treats (gelatos, strawberry ice teas, fraps). The yarn the girls are holding is sari silk. We spent the evening in a discussion over the yarn's quality and uses! Jane is pursuing a deal on EBay for some sari yarn...apparently there are several vendors. A note about the nuts...Yvonne said they are hickory nuts. Although they are still green, that is how you want your nuts for dying (not ripened). So if you are interested in dying with nuts, you must get out now for unripened nuts to brew. posted by Nora | 9:52 AM
