Today’s Fiber News

Another FO! I am very happy with this Project and would make Clapotis again; probably in the recommended yarn of Noro’s Silk Garden. A variegated yarn would really show in the ladders (dropped stitches) This shawl is great for the AC and into fall/winter weather.

Pattern: Clapotis from Knitty.com
Yarn: Elizabeth Lavold’s Silky Wool
Content: 65% wool, 35% wool
Color: 003 Granite (no longer available)
Yardage: 192 yards/50 g ball (I used 3 balls---576 yds.---although I bought 4 balls based on project requirements of 615 yds.)
My needle size: #7 bamboo(pattern called for #8)
Start Date: April 26,2006
Completion Date: August 5, 2006 (it was primarily a lunch-time knitting project)
